At Clayton-Bradley Academy, we are committed to training educators in the Highly Effective Teaching (HET)/Brain-Based Learning model and project-based instruction.
As one of four HET training centers in the country, our Center for Reimagining Education serves as a professional development training space for teachers in the Southeast exploring best education practices.
The training center is also used weekly for CBA faculty and staff professional development. Topics covered at these weekly training sessions include: HET practices, classroom environment, project-based instruction, teacher coaching and mentoring, and school-wide planning initiatives.
Day trainings allow teachers to observe students in different class environments and participate in professional development and panel discussions with teachers and students.
Summer Training: Two days of professional development in which participants are introduced to project-based activities and then explore lesson planning, conceptual curriculum, and student assessment and mastery.
